Announcements for Week of October 12

Hello!
These are the announcements for the week following October 12th, 2008:

Men's Encounter Weekend - Friday and Saturday, October 17 & 18. Gold Beach Resort, Gold Beach, Oregon. Registration is closed now and we have the largest number of men attending this Encounter than ever before. The leaders are gearing up for a great weekend, so be in prayer for everyone. This is our time to meet with God, and we're praying that all of our needs are met and that God creates a hunger and a burning desire for more of Him.

Baby Shower - Laura Johnson is expecting their second daughter at the end of the month and Angel Schrunk is hosting a diaper shower next Saturday, Octber 18th at 11 am in the church cafe.

Every Week Goings On

Preservice prayer in the sanctuary from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. Worship Team will be playing live while the church prays for the service. Great time for not only personal prayer, but corporate prayer also.

Early Service - 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. with Pastor Ron in the upstairs Theater room. You'll receive a condensed version of the message. If you are a children's worker, we really encourage you to attend so that you don't miss out on what's going on in the church service. Anyone else is also invited to attend, you can be that much ahead of everyone else with the notes!

Coming Attractions!

Women's Encounter coming up on October 24 & 25th.
Registration is also closed for this weekend, we are maximum capacity with almost 40 women attending. Also at Gold Beach Resort. If you need to ride on the bus, contact Mary Fully at 267-0345. There is a $5 fee for this.

Baby Shower for Nikki and her new baby on Saturday, November 1 at 11 a.m. in the church cafe.

Moving The Vision Forward - Wednesday, November 5th at 6:00 p.m.
Presentation for projects coming up in 2009 and an All-You-Can-Eat Crab Feed for a suggested donation of $15. We're hoping you all attend and support this fundraiser, we're hoping to sell 100 tickets to raise $1500.00. At the presentation, you'll see a video of last years projects that have been completed, and also the things we hope to accomplish this year. It will be fun and entertaining, I'm sure you'll all enjoy the evening.

Welcome Shower for baby Isabella and her new parents, Mehrdad and Julene Gerami on Saturday, November 8th at 11 a.m. in the church cafe. We want men and women to feel free to attend this party to welcome Isabella into her new church family.

Christmas Decoration on Saturday, November 22 at 10 a.m. Sounds early in the year for this doesn't it? But no, Christmas is just around the corner! We always have a good time decorating the church, the music is playing, the place smells like apple cider and cookies, yum, yum! Can't wait. We'll need both men and women, we've got some outside decorations to go up with the lift, etc.
